My kids have had a great time devouring sugar like mad and giving out Valentines. One of the best things about homeschool is that the kids still get to make Valentine Boxes. This year they really came up with their own ideas and I think they turned out fantastic. Nate's is a green pipe with a piranha plant (from the Super Mario Bros. video game) and Brandon's is a Lego. Sadie wanted to paint her box purple and decorate it with flower stickers.
Another fun project we did was these brain hats. I found a link on the internet and printed them out. The kids colored them and glued them together; they call them "thinking caps" and have been wearing them all month. We're still working on our human body unit this month.
